Rogier Kievit

Rogier Kievit (born 1982) studies how and why cognitive abilities change during people’s lifetime, particularly during childhood and old age.

In Dutch

He uses statistical models in large longitudinal samples to investigate how cognitive abilities are interrelated, how change in the structure of the brain contributes to changes in cognitive abilities, and how cognitive functioning is associated with such factors as physical and mental health, social and intellectual engagement, and environmental factors.
