Noel de Miranda’s research group seeks to understand how a patient’s immune system recognises cancer cells, how cancer cells escape such recognition, and how our knowledge of this behaviour can be used to develop effective immunotherapies.

As a member of The Young Academy, he would like to help create a sustainable and encouraging academic environment for scientists and researchers, as well as an academy that is inclusive and accessible for society at large.
