Fernandez Rivas is also a guest lecturer at Erasmus University Medical Centre (Rotterdam), where he focuses on new drug delivery technologies, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, USA). As a Young Academy member, Fernandez Rivas intends to focus on knowledge transfer between stakeholders in academia and industry, and on fostering trust among the full spectrum of social actors to accelerate the adoption of scientific innovations.
